Volunteering with BBC
Volunteers are a vital component to the overall success of Brandywine Ballet Company. At the heart of every BBC volunteer is one common trait: a passion for the arts in our community.
The Brandywine Ballet volunteer program welcomes all individuals who meet the following requirements, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin.
Applicants to the volunteer program
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be willing to attend and complete training, if applicable.
• Must be willing and able to perform all duties expected of a volunteer.
What are the duties of a BBC Volunteer?
Volunteers assist patrons in a variety of settings before, during, and after performances. Assignments are made by the Front of House Staff for activities such as taking tickets, coat check, concessions, and assisting patrons in locating their seats. Volunteers are often the first point of contact guests encounter upon visiting the theatre. They help guide patrons into the theatre, answer questions about parking and area dining and attractions, and provide assistance to guests in and around the exterior of the theatres.
We also have plenty of oppurtunities beyond show nights - picture taking, filing, street teams, and more!
If you are interested in registering as a volunteer, please call Jaime Louis, Director of Operations, at 610-694-6402.
