Founded in 1979 by Donna Muzio, The Brandywine Ballet Company is the pre-professional and student division of the organization. It consists of dancers ranging in ages from 11 to 18, selected to be members. The Company offers aspiring students the opportunity to develop as dancers with their peers, as well as to participate in professional, large-scale performances with Brandywine Ballet Theatre members and guest artists. Brandywine Ballet Company supports productions of full-length ballets, as well as performances in repertory works tailored exclusively to Company members' abilities.
