Brandywine Contemporary

Founded in 2013 by and under the direction of Tim Early, Resident Choreographer, and Donna L. Muzio, Artistic Director, Brandywine Contemporary provides an outlet and opportunity for proficient, classically trained dancers, ages 15 and older, to explore their interests in contemporary and modern dance. Brandywine Contemporary dancers are introduced to a broad spectrum of choreography to expand their backgrounds and create options for their futures in dance. Dancers are provided professional instruction on Sundays from 10:00-11:15 and will have performance opportunities during the year.

Brandywine Contemporary II was founded in 2015 for intermediate level dancers. This sector of the organization will provide dancers as young as 13 with an opportunity to expand their dance experience through the exploration of modern and contemporary dance styles. Brandywine Contemporary II will have class/rehearsal on Sundays from 11:15-12:30 with Tim Early, and will have performance opportunities during the season.

Brandywine Contemporary III was founded in 2020 to provide dancers as young as 11 the opportunity to begin modern dance instruction. This group is mainly focused on training with one performance opportunity each year. Brandywine Contemporary III classes are scheduled on Sundays from 12:30-1:30 and taught by current Brandywine Contemporary pre-professional dancers and Tim Early.
